Targa Tasmania entry # 123 (me) (:

Charger build up for Targa 2010 PDF Print E-mail
Web_01

I have decided that the time has come for a complete tidy up, while i am fitting the roll cage, and fixing the bits that needed fixing anyway... I have already re-built all of

the steering and suspension, gearbox and diff... Some have said that i should be doing this after the Targa; but since there does not seem to be all that many Aussie

muscle cars in the event, and certainly no Mopars; better fly the flag well.

...It has been over 20years since the last proper re-spray.

 And so it begins...

interior3

Although a little dirty, there is still no rust in the floor; not bad for a 36-year-old, that does not spend much time inside!  A good scrub, and a coat of paint, and she will

look a million bux...                                                                                                                 ((:

...looking good around the rear windscreen!                                                                 (( :

...and only very minor work needed on the front windscreen.

Marked out the spots that will get some "TLC".  Mostly minor dents and scratches, from daily driving and regular road trips, although the rear LHS sill, and the front

frontmarked

Rear LHS sill always did need some attention - and  while I am at it, may as well make the rest of the car look it's very best!

...About time that useless antenna hole is patched up!

Bonet is primed and ready for paint.                                                                                                                                                                                        ...And roll cage is ready to fit

rollcageready

...But still need to prepair and paint the interior before we can start on the cage!                                                                     ...Thinking about painting the roll cage too.         ?

...Slowly, but surely any dents, scratches, etc, that have accumulated over the years are disappearing!                                                            ...Can't wait till it's time to paint.
